Kottowa John Otieno is a human rights and constitutional lawyer whose work is driven by a commitment to justice, accountability, and good governance. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi and has completed the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law. He has further strengthened his expertise through advanced training in Business and Human Rights at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) in Berlin, Germany.
Kottowa’s work revolves around law, governance, and public interest. His areas of expertise include taxation, fiscal justice, corporate accountability, legal research, and policy analysis. He is particularly passionate about promoting transparency and accountability in public institutions and currently focuses on advancing political accountability within state institutions. Drawing on his strong legal background and policy experience, he seeks to contribute to stronger governance systems and more responsive public institutions.
