Grace Awuor Ochiel has a background in communication, journalism, and public relations and brings three years of experience in advocacy-driven storytelling. As a trained journalist, she has developed a solid foundation in news writing, with a focus on human rights issues.
Awuor’s work is rooted in media partnership and has designed and executed campaigns that advocated for constitutionalism and the rule of law. She is skilled in photography, photo editing, and visual storytelling.
In her previous role, Awuor worked with an organization supporting persons with disabilities, advancing efforts on inclusion and visibility, and amplifying initiatives such as the Desert Wheel Race. She has also engaged youth from informal settlements, using communication and advocacy approaches to raise awareness on gender-based violence and promote community-driven solutions.
Awuor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism from Kenya Methodist University and a Diploma in Public Relations from Africa Nazarene University.
