KHRC participated in the 56th session of the African Commission on Human and People Rights (ACHPR) which took place from April 21- May 7, 2015 in Banjul, Gambia. KHRC also participated in the NGO Forum (April 17-19, 2015) whose main objective was to foster closer collaboration among NGOs and with the ACHPR, for the purpose of promoting and protecting human rights in Africa. The forum is organized into three main thematic areas namely: the Status of Human Rights and Democracy in Africa; Special Interest Groups Discussions and; Networking for Human Rights.
