Mary Kambo

Mary Kambo is a labor rights and corporate accountability expert with over 10 years of experience. She is widely trained and exposed to human rights and social justice mechanisms and interventions. She has extensive expertise and experience in business and human rights, trade justice along global agricultural supply chains and fair trade at national, regional and international levels. She has rich experience in and understanding of labor rights legal frameworks and business and human rights at the national, regional and international levels. Kambo has led prolific and highly successful campaigns to call for accountability by companies implicated in gross human rights abuses and justice for the victims. Some of the campaigns closed with huge financial compensation to the victims. Kambo is currently finalizing a Master of Arts degree in Human Rights at the University of Nairobi. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies (Development Communication option) from the same university.
